Thank you for visiting The Grainless Baker. Our products are designed for people that are on a gluten-free diet or are restricted from eating wheat, barley or rye products because of allergies. The Grainless Baker is a family-owned business started by my husband Dan and I when I was diagnosed with Celiac Sprue. With 40 years of baking experience between us gained at my family’s bakery, the Minooka Pastry Shop, we knew we could make delicious alternatives to wheat-based breads and pastries I could no longer eat. The fresh-baked gluten-free breads and pastries we developed are so delicious you will have trouble telling the difference. Our breads have the texture and taste of wheat-based bread, and our cakes are good enough to serve to an entire party, not just a person suffering from Celiac Sprue. Since we began baking, we have tried to cater to the needs and desires of our customers. As a result, we have a product-line based on my favorite recipes and the suggestions and requests of the wonderful customers we serve.
